Oklahoma State Flips TCU DB Commit LaDainian Fields

LaDainian Fields, a 2024 three-star athlete, has been committed to the TCU Horned Frogs since August 5, 2023, but when it came time to put pen to paper, he decided to stay closer to home.
The Del City (Okla.) native signed his NLI on early signing day, making him the 17th member of Oklahoma State’s 2024 class. Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Bryan Nardo has made his mark on the recruiting trail, and this flip lands him one of the best players in the Panhandle State.
Fields is listed as the No. 17 player in the state and the No. 95 cornerback in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports.
Fields is one of 16 players to sign with the Cowboys as of the time of this story, with the seventeenth member of the class, quarterback Maealiuaki Smith, being the final remaining member of the class yet to sign.
Oklahoma State currently has 247Sports’ No. 64 class in the country and the 14th-ranked Big 12 recruiting class for 2024.
Mike Gundy and the Pokes are coming off a 9-3 regular season and an appearance in the Big 12 Championship. They’ll face Texas A&M in the TaxAct Texas Bowl on Wednesday, December 27. Kickoff from NRG Stadium in Houston is set for 8:00 p.m. CT, with the Aggies being favored by 2.0 points.
