It is finally October. Cooler weather and the Big 12 conference schedule are here for the TCU Horned Frogs.
And they are not worn out.
“Right now, we’re fresh. We’re still early in the season,” senior safety Sam Carter said.
Maybe that will become an advantage for the Frogs as they get ready to start their third Big 12 season. The first two were flops — a 4-5 record in 2012 and a 2-7 record in 2013. But this year, along with what they believe is more talent and maturity, the Frogs go in with the fewest games played of any team in the league.
