Social Media Reacts to Shedeur Sanders Taking a Shot at Texas High School Football

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders took a shot at Texas high school football on Monday in a recent press conference discussing his path to Colorado.
“I came from a private school, so at the end of the day, I dealt with a lot of negativity and hate year after year,” Sanders said. “All the other kids were going to big Texas 6A schools and stuff, I don’t see those same kids around.”
With that, the internet reacted in a frenzy with comments voicing support for Sanders and calling him out over the inaccuracy of the take. In case you may have missed it, here is Sanders on Texas high school football.
With Sanders being a major personality in college football, the takes rolled in quickly on social media, where Sanders and his statements about the state of high school football were discussed.
